Hotel-Restaurant Landhaus Rabenhorst

brief description:

Landhaus Rabenhorst is idyllically situated in a park-like setting in the middle of a forest. The perfect place to escape everyday stress and hard work, it was built in 1930 as a weekend residence for an industrialist named Rabe. Only three years later, Margarete Krauter bought the estate and turned it into a country inn, which she managed herself for several decades. In 1979, Mrs. Krauter, for reasons of old age, let the Rabenhorst to the Karlsberg Brewery in Homburg (then under the direction of Dr. Richard Weber). In the coming years, a number of tenants followed. The Pinl family rented the property in 1993 and bought it three years later. Since then, several modifications and additions to the building have been carried out, enhancing both the ambience as well as the growth of Landhaus Rabenhorst
