Remains of surface installations at the former Reden coal mine, refurbished in part. The industrial building, which was in use during the 1910s and the 1940s, consists of a machine house, a compressor hall and workshops. Complete building ensemble in one street, embedded in a modern traffic and infrastructure network with alleyways and squares.

Coming on the Autobahn A8 Neunkirchen-Dillingen, take the Friedrichsthal exit. Proceed on the L262, direction Bildstock. Follow Redener Straße (still L262), going in the direction of Heiligenwald, Reden. The Reden coal mine is signposted at the entrance of town on the right hand side.

Taking the train, get off at the Landsweiler Reden station, from there the mining site is about 800
